My concern is how a Blue Chip feels compared to a tortex. I have no way to try one locally, and I worry that the Blue Chip material at an equal thickness to a tortex would feel heftier. WebMar 9, 2011 · I ordered a tripoint (TAD?) in "40" thickness from Blue Chip and find it misses a lot of the low and mid frequency color that the mando can make. It is going back. My question is: If any of you have played a series of 40, 50, 60, 80, etc., do you find that the larger picks have better quality in the lower frequencies, or do they just get louder?

WebApr 6, 2024 · The TAD 50 is for bluegrass rhythm guitar. The Jazz 60 is a nice pick, but my current favorite is a TD60. I got it as a gift some months back, and I'm really liking the sound. The teardrop point isn't necessarily the fastest to play, but the sound is amazing, slightly better than the Jazz 60 or the small Jazz 60. cake makka polestar
