I was popping it together, checking, and going back to filing. Thought I was going slowly, the safety would not move to the down position. So back to filing. Popped it together again, and VOILA, it functioned.

WebJun 6, 2024 · The thumb safety will have to be fitted to where it meets the sear. It's not difficult, but takes about 30 minutes first time. Technique is to file a little bit, test fit, file more, test fit until you get it just right. There are a few good videos on youtube and good notes here on the forum.
