This old girl won’t bite but being the evolutionary ancestor of the crocodile, you can imagine she had a fearsome bite 98 million years ago. WebIt’s official name is Isisforia duncani and you can see a replica of this beauty at The Outer Barcoo Interpretation Centre . At this point we should stress that there are NO crocodiles in the Barcoo River, but there is excellent fishing. Anywhere downstream from the Weir is said to be ideal.
